M.Yasir Kızmaz

I obtained  the Ph.D. degree at 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Gülin Ercan in Mathematics in Metu. After one year Postdoc in Bilkent University with my Postdoc mentor Prof. Ergün Yalçın, I have started working as a visiting assistant professor at Bilkent.

My favorite research topics are "coprime actions", "p-nilpotency theorems", and "Transfer and Fusion" in Finite Group Theory. To extend my knowledge, I am trying to learn more about the clasification of finite simple groups and fusion systems.

Currently, I am working on two projects one of which with Ergün Yalçın on "group actions on spheres" and the other one is with Gülin Ercan and İsmail Güloğlu on " some special coprime actions".

I am an amateur chess player, and I like playing bullet chess (fast chess) online. If you want to challenge me, I am here!
