

Dr. M.Yasir Kızmaz
I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Middle East Technical University in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Gülin Ercan. After a one-year postdoctoral position at Bilkent University with Prof. Ergün Yalçın as my mentor, I worked there as a Visiting Assistant Professor. In the following year, I carried out another postdoctoral project with Prof. Yıldıray Ozan. Afterwards, I completed an additional postdoctoral position with Prof. Rebecca Waldecker at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. In 2024, I started working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bilkent University.
My main research interests are Group Theory, Representation Theory, and Fusion Systems.
